We cordially invite you to join us for our Road Run from the National Mining Museum Scotland, Newtongrange EH22 4QN, via Glenkinchie, to Lennoxlove House EH41 4NZ

The route details will be given out on the day, with different country routes for light vehicles and motor cycles, and another route more suited to the commercials. Cycles start from a site within the Lennoxlove estate.

Full catering and toilet facilities will be available at the start and finish, and coffee/tea will be available at Glenkinchie. Judging will be done at Lennoxlove House, and the judges will fully take into account that vehicles have been driven on the run, with no marks deducted for this.

Please arrive at the National Mining Museum Scotland by 10am as vehicles will be departing between 10 and 11am. If you need space for unloading a large vehicle, it would be useful for us to know in advance to arrange the area. Fuel is available at Tesco, 2 miles north, and Shell 1/2 mile to the South, both on the A7

Please remember that we are organising this event at our own expense as we will not be able to charge the public for viewing, and we are dependent on the goodwill of these venues to be able to have a Run at all. Please do not contact the National Mining Museum Scotland, Glenkinchie, or Lennoxlove House directly about this event as they will not have information.

IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR 2013: We expect a good range of vehicles on the day, but we cap entry numbers and regrettably may need to decline some entries. The number of vehicles is limited by the capacity of the venues, so please only register for this run if you intend to turn up. We appreciate that circumstances can change, as long as you let us know in advance that you are no longer able to come this is not a problem.
